One of the biggest personal development steps you can take is to stop being a victim. Stop blaming others for all the bad things that are happening to you and the ones you love. By taking this step you regain responsibility, and control, over your life and will make a shift from reactive to proactive thinking and doing. This is the start of true conscious living: a major leap in your development.
Is there a relation between the map of consciousness (how conscious or unconscious people are) and all the good or bad things that can happen? Is this just like natural selection, survival of the fittest; giving the more conscious people an edge, a real advantage in life?
If there is a root of all evil, I believe it must be seeing others (or other groups) as inferior. Not being able to have compassion for one another and others point of view, not being able to put ourselves in someone else’s shoes: Looking at situations from a different perspective.
If you have not heard of Eckhart Tolle before and would meet him for the first time, your first impression would probably be that of a very ordinary, simple man. Most people in our western society think that meditation is something that only Buddhist monks or Indian yogi’s do.
