Recently, over dinner with a good friend, I was telling her about how I was feeling of all the endless things I keep on doing for my family and she said, 'I know just what you need and I am going to send you a link which I am sure you will find of great interest'. Reading about the drama triangle made me realise how much of a rescuer I have been and also when it all got too much, how quickly I switched to the role of persecutor. Thank you Patrick for this great insight and I have already taken some positive steps to stop feeling like either the rescuer or the persecutor by only helping when my help is specifically asked for. Thanks again. Nelun

Hi Kathy,

Thanks for informing me about TED. Looks very promising. If you would like I can do a review of the book on my site. Let me know what you think.

Kind regards,

Patrick

Thank you Patrick for your insights.

Have you heard of David Emerald's Empowerment Dynamic? In his book, The Power of TED* (*The Empowerment Dynamic) he talks about another escape from the drama triangle through the antidote roles of creator, challenger and coach.

Check out his website and let me know what you think. www.powerofted.com

thanks again,
